Often, they show up in the form of hesitation, inconsistent responses, or confusion with basic tasks\u2014like recognizing letters, counting objects, or understanding simple instructions. These gaps can stem from many things: limited exposure to language at home, lack of access to early learning, emotional stress, or even just a different pace of development.<\/p>\n<p>But in a typical classroom, where the teaching moves forward at the same pace for all, these gaps can quietly widen.
