What was the difference in the scene that Omana saw from the train on the first day and on the second day ?

Answer:

On the first day we were at Madgaon of Goa. The scene outside was beautiful. It was green-fields with red soil and green crops, hills, covered with trees. On the next day we were in Kerala and our train crossed a big river with river down below and then through a tunnel. Outside it was sunny, bright and green. There were many coconut trees and greenfields.

Omana saw many kinds of vehicles at the level-crossing. Which of them run on diesel or petrol ?

Answer:

Omana saw the following vehicles as the level-crossing which run on diesel or petrol :
On diesel : Trucks and cars.
On petrol : cars, autorickshaws, motorcycles, scooters.

Why was there so much smoke and noise from the vehicles at the level crossing ?

Answer:

People on vehicles were held up at the level crossing due to the passing of train. Some people did not switch off the engines of their vehicles while waiting. So there was a lot of smoke and noise of the vehicles.

What can we do to reduce noise of the vehicle and save petrol and diesel ? Discuss.

Answer:

We should switch off the engine while at red light. We should avoid horn to reduce the noise. We should use bicycle for small distances.

Sometimes people cross the tracks even when the crossing is closed. What do you feel about this ?

Answer:

This is against the law, I feel bad about this.
