Answer:

Yes, I have seen people quarrelling over a seat in railway compartment during journey.

No, the rules should be same for boys and girls, women and men.

Answer:

When Kulfi-seller made a mistake and charged for five Kulfis instead of seven, the children were very happy but Pilloo Aunty paid for seven Kulfis. The Kulfi-seller gave one Kulfi free of cost to Pilloo Aunty as a reward for her honesty.

My parents are like Pilloo Aunty. They always teach us to be honest.

What would the children have thought if Pilloo Aunty had paid less money to the Kulfi-seller ? What do you think about this

Had Pilloo Aunty paid less to the Kulfi-seller, the children would have thought that Pilloo Aunty is very smart and dishonest. Her image must have been lowered in the eyes of the children.

Why was Akshay confused ?

Answer:

When Anil handed Akshay a glass of water, he suddenly remembered his grandmother’s warning. This made him confused and put him in a state of ‘to be or not to be’.

Yes. An old lady in our neighbourhood thinks and behaves the way Akshay’s grandmother does.

My father takes important decisions in our family. He uses his experience and thinks a lot to arrive at right decisions.

How would you like if only one person made all the decisions for your family ?

Answer:

I do not like it because different persons have different choices and limitations. So decisions made by one person may not be liked by the other person. Secondly this would make the other people dependent and handicap for they would never be able to take decisions in life.

Have you ever disliked anybody’s touch ? Whose touch did you dislike ?

Answer:

Yes, my friend’s brother

If you were in Ritu’s place, what would you do ?

Answer:

I would request uncle not to touch me and talk to my mother.

Answer:

I can tell my parents also. Better I should not visit his place.

Everybody’s touch is not the same. Ritu did not like it when Meena’s uncle held her hand, but she liked to hold Meena’s hand. Why do you think there was this difference ?

Different people have different ideas, nature and behaviour. People of similar nature and choices like each other.
