Answer:

Answer:

The fishes require fresh and pure water. Where there are many fishes in the river, the water is fresh and pure which enables them to survive. When people throw wastes from their houses and factories, the water of river becomes polluted and unfit for fishes to survive so that their number decreases at that place.

Answer:

Large number of fishes can be seen in the river before it reaches village where the water of river becomes polluted.

I have actually seen sea in Chennai.

Since sea water is salty, it is not drinkable.

Changes to take place in a river, pond or stream at different times of the year. During rainy season there is more water and water is muddy. In winter, there is little water while in summer these even dry up sometimes.

No, there will be more water during rainy season and less water in summer season.

Even if water looks clean and transparent if may still contain certain dissolved impurities and micro organisms which can cause diseases. So we cannot be certain to say that this water is alright to drink.

From river. Yes, our river water can also be affected.

How is drinking water cleaned in your house ?

Answer:

First of all alum is added to water which helps to settle suspended particles of dust etc. Then it is poured out in some other vessel and filtered. In the end, chlorine tablets are added to this water to kill germs present, if any.
