Question 17:
Who do you think Mr Nath is? Write a paragraph or two about him.
Answer:
I think Mr Nath is poor old man who has been shunned by his extended family after the death of his wife. He’s probably surviving on the money he gets as his pension. He also seems to be a simple man as evident from his way of life. He probably wants to befriend people but doesn’t do so as his scars on his face. So he prefers staying alone and living his life in an ordinary manner. The strange visitor who visits him every Sunday might be his son who simply visits him out of moral obligation. This saddens Mr Nath even more and makes him feel miserable.
Question 18:
What else do you think Nishad and Maya will find out about him? How? Will they ever be friends?Think about these questions and write a paragraph or two to continue the story.
Answer:
Nishad and Maya will try to find out about Mr Nath’s identity. Maya will try in all possible
ways to expose him as a criminal. She will try to find out his real name, his background and
about his mysterious Sunday visitor. She won’t waste any time in bringing in the police if
he (Mr Nath) is found guilty.
Nishad or Seven, on the other hand, believes that Mr Nath
is simply sick and lonely. He will meet him in more friendly manner to find out about his
history. If Nishad’s convictions were proven true, he will help him in every way possible.
