Question 6:
Do you have a pet - a cat or a dog? If not, would you like one? How would you look after it? Are you for or against keeping birds in a cage as pets?
Answer:
Although I don't have pets, I would definitely like to keep one. Ever since I was a little
boy/girl, I wanted to have a German shepherd. I like this breed of dogs because they are
known for being loyal, protective and intelligent. I would look after him by giving it
regular showers, giving proper food, taking it for a walk everyday and following regular
medical check-ups.
I am certainly against the idea of keeping birds in a cage. By
keeping them in cages, we take away their freedom. Birds are meant to fly in the open sky.
Just as we humans would never like to spend our lives in jails, birds also wouldn't like to
spend their lives in a cage.
